I am about ready to take my first driving lesson on my new motorcycle. I just bought it about 2 weeks ago and I am ready to start driving it back and forth to school this fall.

When I bought the cycle I didn’t realize that the instructor would not be able to teach me how to ride one. This driving lesson I was about ready to take was about learning how to drive a car. I was a little bit disappointed when I learned that. I did go ahead with my one driving lesson, but was going to search around for a driving lesson on his cycle.

I decided to stay after class and ask the instructor about giving me a driving lesson on my cycle. I was so much looking forward to driving it to school the first day of school.

As much as I wanted to go home right after class I was glad I did stay around because the instructor was going to give me a driving lesson for my cycle. The instructor said it was really an uncommon practice for him, but he was willing to do it this one time.

After my driving lesson for my cycle, the professor gave me a few names I could contact for lessons for my brand new cycle. I was given 5 names and I was going to check out each one. The first I contacted said he could give 15 driving lessons but for each driving lesson he charges $10.50. I decided I would call him back and let him know, because I wanted to check out the other names.

Each person I called gave me an estimate on what the cost would be. I cannot believe for one driving lesson the cheapest one I have found is $8.50. I guess I have to look at it this way. I am going to have to pay for these courses one or another, so I just as well dig out my check book and see how much money I have saved up. I know I will have to ask money from my mom and dad, but I know it will not be that much.

I wanted to prove to them that I could do things on my own without relying on mommy and daddy for everything. I was thinking if I could show them I was responsible in paying for everything on my own, they might give me a more responsibilities. I guess time will only tell.
