Sometimes I think life can be hard for women. I think it is most definitely a man's world, men know that, and women know it. We sometimes try to be equal but let's face it, who likes to watch women's football, or women's golf? You don't see much racing done by women either. It is definitely a man's world no matter how much we try to deny it.

for women, if you have a small car accident it is definitely because you are a women, or so the men think. If a man has an accident no one blames his sexuality at all!I was helping out the builders who were working on my house once, they were so sexist to me it was unbelievable. If they weren't winking at me, they were making crude comments, it was mad, I was paying for the privilege too! I had to hire a skip for them and they just tried to help me as if I wasn't able to manage it.

I have always wanted to ride a motorbike, but when I was learning my parent'smade me use a scooter though, it was really embarrassing. I suppose it was because I was their little girl, it is a shame that my brother was able to ride a motorbike sooner than I was and he was younger than me.

I didn't really mind my scooter though, at least it was my first taste of independence, I was able to ride around and be free. I can gointo town whenever I like, it was nice really, I started learning on my scooter when I was 17. I never did particularly want to drive a car.

I was eventually trusted enough to get my first motorbike, I had saved up enough and had shown my parents I was determined and sensible. I love my first bike, it is beautiful. I am also careful, you don't see me overtaking at stupid speeds in silly places on the road. For women to be seen on a bike is strange for some men, as if it affects their ego or something! All I can say is, I love my bike!
